Jonathan
Woodhead
As Policy Advisor at Birkbeck, Jonathan provides high level public affairs and policy advice to the Master,
Professor David S Latchman, CBE, and the Registrar and Communications Team.
Prior to joining Birkbeck in September 2015, Jonathan was Executive Officer to the Vice Chancellor and Chief
Executive at London Metropolitan University for five years. Before that he held a number of roles, including
Senior Researcher to Rt. Hon. David Willetts MP, then Minister for Universities and Science, Public Affairs Manager
at Universities UK, and Research Assistant to Mark Prisk MP.
Jonathan holds a Master’s degree in War Studies from King’s College, London and a BA in
International Relations from Staffordshire University.
