Sarah
Carter
Sarah is the Policy and Public Affairs Officer within the Vice-Chancellor’s team at Bournemouth University. She analyses HE policy and data,
horizon scans for trends, and monitors political developments. She works closely with Bournemouth’s Public Relations and Research and Knowledge
Exchange Teams, writes regular briefings to keep internal staff informed, and coordinates consultations and inquiry responses. Sarah also
spends a substantial amount of time engaging academics and supporting them to communicate and translate their research expertise to inform public policy.
Sarah studied Psychology at the University of Warwick and has worked in therapeutic and educational environments since graduating including
workforce management and business intelligence analysis.
