Sam
Weir
Sam is the Vice-Chancellor’s Executive & Policy Officer at the University for the Creative Arts. He
joined UCA in February 2012 to provide executive support for Professor Simon Ofield-Kerr across the spectrum
of the University’s activities and interests, and in the development of new strategies and projects.
Prior to this he worked at Kingston University for more than 10 years in several roles, most recently as the
Assistant Head of Secretariat in the University Secretary’s Department.
Sam holds a BA (Hons) and MPhil in Philosophy from the University of Birmingham and King’s College London
respectively, together with a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies awarded by Kingston University.
He is an accredited member of the Association of University Administrators.
