Tamsin
James
Tamsin James is Head of Policy at the University of Hertfordshire. She advises the Vice-Chancellor and the University’s
senior management team on developments in higher education policy and supports University engagement with political and policy
stakeholders.
Before joining the University of Hertfordshire in 2015, Tamsin worked in public affairs at The Open University. She previously
worked in policy and public affairs for charities including Citizens Advice and Breast Cancer Care. She holds a BA History
from Royal Holloway, University of London, and an MPhil in Early Modern History from the University of Cambridge.
