Chipperfield
Caroline is Head of HE Development at Petroc, a college with campuses in North and Mid Devon. She oversees the development of the college-based HE provision of around 400 students.
As a member of the college Executive Advisory Group she is responsible for setting the HE strategy, responding to consultations on HE policy, HE marketing and communications,
HE student experience and HE curriculum development.
Caroline began her career as a Physics teacher and has worked for the British Science Association, The Royal Society, the University of Hertfordshire and as Head of Policy and Strategy at the
University of Plymouth. She has also lived in Malaysia, working for the British Council as East Asia HE programme lead which included establishing the Newton Fund. Returning to the UK,
Caroline continued to work with the British Council as a Senior Adviser, supporting UK and European universities post Brexit. Most recently she was Business Development Director for UPP
supporting university’s on-campus student accommodation.
