Kirstie
Godwin-Day
Kirstie is Policy and Insight Manager at the University of Plymouth, based in the Planning and Analytics Office. Kirstie’s role
is to provide expert advice on appropriate actions to support the strategic development of the University. This includes the
management and coordination of the University Planning Cycle, risk and business continuity policies and processes, as well as
institutional research and sector/market insight.
Kirstie began her career in higher education at The Open University joining as Market Research Manager in the Business
School in 2001 and progressing to Head of Market Insight in 2003. Kirstie joined the University of Plymouth in January 2014
as Senior Policy Officer after deciding to relocate to the South West. She has undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in
UK and US politics and government respectively.
