Lenny joined the University of Sussex in July 2016 as Head of Public Affairs.

He provides external relations support and policy advice to the Vice-Chancellor and University Executive Group working with the Director of Communications and External Affairs to deliver a broad range of communications and PR activities.

Prior to joining Sussex, he was Public Affairs Manager at the RSPCA where he worked for three years. Prior to working at the RSPCA he worked for a political consultancy providing strategic advice to a broad range of clients including charities, corporates and trade unions.
