Maria has worked in Higher Education for over 10 years, joining Teesside University in the Tees Valley as an Executive Policy Officer in 2015. Maria provides high-level support to the University Executive Team, including horizon scanning, policy advice and analysis, preparing speeches, briefing papers and reports on a wide range of policy issues and leading consultation responses. She works closely with the Pro Vice-Chancellors for International and Enterprise and Business Engagement, supporting the development of their strategic priorities and plans. She is also responsible for coordinating and managing strategic projects in these portfolios.
