Alway
As Senior Policy Adviser, Philippa leads the apprenticeships and skills work in UCAS› policy and research team and is developing and expanding its work on lifelong learning.
Prior to joining UCAS, she managed the work of the Independent Commission on the College of the Future and the Four Nations College Alliance and led campaigns for the
Association of Colleges on sustainability and unemployment. She previously worked as consultant in public affairs agencies and as a member of the external affairs team of
cross-party think tank, Demos. She also supports policy engagement for academics at universities.
She holds a Master’s degree in Political Communications from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a first-class BSc in Politics with Communications, Media and Culture
from Oxford Brookes University.
