Perkins
Nick joined UCEM in January 2023 as Public Affairs Manager, sitting within the Principal’s Office where he supports the institution’s partnership working,
influencing and public affairs activities.
Before joining UCEM, Nick worked at the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, the professional body for vocationally trained lawyers. His career has taken him to think
tanks, campaign groups, a public affairs agency and a medical research charity.
Nick holds a BA (Hons) in Law with Politics from the University of Manchester, an LLM in Law from the University of Birmingham and professional certification from the
University of Law. After graduating, he also had brief stints at a secondary education charity and as a Research Assistant at University College London.
